Recently, we developed another architectural look for the Mandolin which was inspired by the Spanish colonial style homes found off of McGregor Blvd. in the historic area of Fort Myers:
It features:
a barrel tile roof,
a smooth stucco finish,
spiral pre-cast entry columns,
French doors with shutters at the entry as well as the den (with access to the terra cotta tiled front porch),
striped awnings above the master bath and side of the garage windows,
a garage with three separate arch top doors with a parapet roof and wood look doors.

Interestingly, Andrea Signorelli, one our top real estate agents, came up with the name “Mandolin” for our model home, AND it’s also the name of the canal behind the information center near which it will built!
The Mandolin has more than 2500 square feet under air, and groundbreaking is scheduled for October. It should be completed by February 2012. If you’d like to learn more about the details of the home, and see its floorplan, be sure to read my previous post:
